I buy rice in 25 pound bags. This is perfect for storing rice, keeps bugs out of my rice. I use the small ones for everyday rice cooking. In the other, smaller one, I store brown rice. Very durable and dense. Large has a handle that is convenient to carry.

Small bins are large and easy to close. The big one is so huge it is used to store about 15 pounds of dog food. The top doesn't close, however, until I press down on the clips with all the pent-up anger and fury of my entire family tree. As a result, it is now no longer kept in the usual dog food, but prominently displayed on our kitchen counter to keep bugs out.

I only use the large storage container at the moment but I'm sure the two smaller ones are of equal quality. I keep about 15 pounds of rice in a large container and am a little worried about lifting and carrying that much by the handle. I didn't have to worry. As long as all four latches are properly closed, the lid is fairly stable and allows rice to be safely transported from the pantry to the kitchen counter. Only received it today so can't give long term review. My first impression is that these containers are not cheaply made. They are marked "Made in Korea". The smaller containers hold 3.6 liters (121.8 fl oz), while the larger ones are labeled 11.5 liters (389 fl oz). A 11.3 kg bag of sushi rice completely fills the large container and takes up about half the volume of the smaller container. We love keeping these in our pantry! Different sizes for everything we use, from large bags of rice and pancake mixes to small containers of pasta, beans and other dried foods. They can be stacked well and offer optimal storage space on the shelves. The handles on the large containers are very practical. I really like these. I also bought the largest which holds 2 or 3 loaves of organic homemade bread and keeps it fresh for a very long time. All of my baking supplies have a new home too. When cleaning, don't forget to take out the inner band (blue in my case) to wash it thoroughly and dry it without risk of mold. I would like to start this review by explaining that I received my containers and found that two of them were already damaged (the hinges/clasps that snap into place were broken). I believe this is a quality control issue and I've read about it from previous customer reviews. I ordered the kit anyway, thinking it was a rare defect and I wouldn't be one of the unlucky few.
