Description of π· Maxxum SLR Camera Lens: Konica Minolta 20mm f/2.8 Autofocus
For use with Minolta Maxxum Autofocus SLR cameras. Focus and exposure data flow from lens' ROM integrated circuit to camera's central processing unit. Ultra-wide angle lens. Great depth-of-field and emphasizes perspective. Quick, precise focusing.
After trying this product, I couldn't help but feel unsatisfied with its performance. The autofocus feature was far from what I expected, often requiring multiple attempts just to get a clear shot. The lens itself was made with subpar materials that quickly deteriorated with use. While I appreciate the attempt at innovation in the world of electronics, this lens simply didn't meet my expectations.
Item arrived in perfect condition. Takes great photos with my Sony a7ii. Very happy with the purchase as I needed a wide angle landscape lens without distortion but didn't want to spend more than $800.
Pros
Focus and exposure data flow from lens ROM IC to camera CPU
All Minolta Auto Focus Maxxum lenses can be mounted directly on SONY Alpha A-mount cameras , z full-frame digital cameras a900 and a99 and APS-C digital cameras including a77 and others. Since Sony A-mount digital cameras support SteadyShot, this feature can be used with all older Minolta AF Maxxum lenses. It is extremely rare to find a brand new (new from old stock) Minolta 20mm f/2.8 lens which I believe is the very first in the world. Auto focus, ultra wide angle lens. Takes incredibly sharp
Pros
Ultra wide angle lens
Cons
I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
