Excellent Container Orchestrating Platform

Kontena is a very stable, mature and easy to use container orchestrator. It is very flexible and provides good integration with Kubernetes. It has good support for multiple container runtimes and orchestration frameworks. It is also very good at managing multiple versions of containers. The user interface could be better. It could be more intuitive. I would also recommend to look at the other products available on the market. It is hard to find a product that meets all the requirements. Kontena

Pros
  • Easy setup
  • Great documentation (including tutorial)
  • Flexible architecture allows running different platforms or tools.
  • Multi container management ability
Cons
  • So-so

Very useful solution and great help setting

We are using it as an orchestration platform for multiple Docker containers running in different environments (Dev, test etc.) It's very easy to configure everything you need with this toolkit! Some things could be improved regarding usability but that is just my opinion so far :) I'm not sure if we would have been able or willing/able enough without konnected helping us getting started first though - thanks guys!! Highly recommended when working within docker environment like ours where…

Pros
  • Easy setups via config files + ability build custom images by yourself = winwin situation here;)
Cons
  • As mentioned above some features about GUI layout might still look better

Best Container solution out right now

I like that we can set up our own docker images, which allows us to have full control over how it runs in production without having someone else run all of these services for you! There's nothing really bad about this product but there are some things they could do better with their documentation (especially if your not familiar). If anyone is looking into using containers as part of an application deployment strategy - take advantage because container orchestration/management has come so far…

Pros
  • Kubernetes support makes deploying apps easier once setup properly
Cons
  • Minor Issues
