🐈 Optimize Your Cat's Litter Box Experience with Koonie Cat Litter Mat Jumbo Size Review

I got so tired of running cat litter around the house that this article was my dream. It has a unique texture that grabs the litter from my girls paws as they exit the box. I combined this with the Ecoflex Litter Loo litter box, a drawer that hides the tray, decorative and durable. My cat litter problem has been reduced by at least 95%. I highly recommend the investment.

This mat is not only large but also has a great texture that prevents dirt from spreading outside the box. Both my adult cat and kitten have enough space to "wipe their feet" after work. It really keeps leftover clutter at bay, cleans up easily afterwards and is durable. The texture as an added benefit is a great place to scratch young nails without signs of wear. It is also easy to clean.

It's not waterproof even though it looks like it (even in person)! I've used it for other purposes - under my dog's water bowl because I needed a large mat - so I still give it a good rating. However, if you put it in a humid place, DO NOT BUY. It held a lot of moisture on the underside of the mat and we didn't realize it until our floor started to warp just a few weeks into using it.

This thing is amazing! He is tall. My cats love throwing litter everywhere and I've been vacuuming for 20-25 minutes every other day to keep up. Since having this, I can walk much longer and just suck it out of the trap. I see a lot less garbage strewn around the house. All in all a great purchase! Update: Thing catches debris pretty well BUT after a while you can't get the debris out of the holes. Also, one of my cats had some runny poo that got on the mat and won't come out.

When I first opened the package there was a strong smell of rubber but I unpacked it and hung it on the railing outside overnight and was the closest pleasantly surprised morning the smell was completely gone. The rug looks well made, soft top layer with texture. I bought a gray mat to match the tray, as well as clumping litter (which also has a few white pieces). I ordered this toilet mat to replace the smaller one I used to use. I didn't realize how big it was until I ordered it! I lightly cover the corner where I store the litter box. It does a good job of reducing litter marks on my floors and the size allows me to give my cat a lot more room to get away from any litter left on his paws. My only minor complaint is that I wish it was black so I can more easily see how much dirt is on the mat. I definitely recommend this product!

Finally a cat litter mat that actually works! I use a different product that is widely available in toilet stores. They were rubbery, rounded and with raised ridges to catch debris. They offered an improvement over using nothing but still left a lot to be desired and each pad was small, only a few inches wide so I used two. For the money I paid for these two mats, I was able to buy a quality Koonie cat litter mat. Doesn't matter! On the one hand, it is much more attractive than many others…

This would be absolutely amazing if my cats didn't pick up the litter with their paws and throw it over the mat and then an extra foot. I have to cover my entire floor with this rug to keep dirt out!
