I don't know why people complain about the "thickness" of the connection wires? They were a good size although this light was smaller and we had no issues with the light installing it ourselves. We have an old house from the 1940's and this light fixture made its way into our hallway without much effort. It's hard to put into words how moronic this design is. I've installed dozens of lights, fans, and electrical devices and this was by far the worst design ever. The screws that go into the ceiling mount are normal size, great! The screws that go down and hold the bracket are larger and wider than the width of the bracket. So if the screws are too long, you won't be able to screw them back flush into the ceiling. TERRIBLE design. The only possible workaround if you're buying this junk is to buy…
