The anodized layer on it is very thick, I found that for use it may be necessary to use a step drill and redrill the holes, normally a drill press would be my ideal tool for drilling but a work clamp and a hand drill are safer to use, in my case I injured my thumb trying to work on the drill, lesson learned. Otherwise they are quite well designed.

I used them to improve the stability and accuracy of my Tronxy X5SA 3D printer. Also, I got a better bed alignment. Although you can see them in the picture you might not think of those little dents (I didn't). Small ones stick out at both ends of each side.
