I have a 2018 15" MacBook Pro (Radeon Pro 560X GPU, Discrete). After two weeks of use, the plastic holding the pad in place broke in half after lifting it. I suspect it struggled with the weight of my Oryx Pro 15-inch laptop. During use, the plastic bracket and tabs holding the laptop in place creaked badly, and the tabs buckled under the weight of my Oryx Pro. Finding accessories for this laptop is not an easy task and I was skeptical about ordering this cooling pad as I didn't have much experience with cooling pads and laptops in the past. I hesitated about how to rate this item and finally settled on the average score. For me, this product does exactly what I need, but some features just haven't lived up to their potential and may be a barrier to other buyers. I have a laptop that lives on my bed.
