Excellent headphones for this price. Always, I've always bought this Koss line. This is a definite improvement over older models as the cable is detachable and you can connect any 3.5mm cable to any pair of headphones. Not only that, the opposite headphone jack becomes a daisy chain connection for a friend's headphones to hear what you're listening to if you want to share it.

These headphones are good for the price but they don't come with a remote and the built in mic has no controls. As such it is not as advertised and the cost should reflect this. Very disappointed. My ears rubbed against the cups, and the round cups were so small (and underfilled) that they painfully pressed against my temple rather than the softer tissue around my ear. For two months my kph30i was in Koss for warranty repair, I bought a pair of these UR42iks as a temporary replacement/free kit. Unfortunately, both attempts failed me - the kph30i they sent me was also damaged, assembled haphazardly; and those UR42iks don't work nearly as well on me.
