Surprisingly good sound for the money

Bought these headphones for my son as he needed a pair for school. Before I gave it to him, I just listened to it and was very surprised. I usually listen to $500 headphones like Beyerdynamics or Fostex, but these very cheap headphones from Koss sound very mature compared to what you usually find in this price range. No shrill highs, but a full and right-sounding upper register; good vocals and mids, as well as a full and not boomy bass. All in all, probably the best headphones you can find in the &lt;100 euro region.
