Use them on tinder, hardwood, kindling bags. Since I mix and match things, the window is perfect for seeing what's in the bag. Everything burns down to the metal wire I'm carrying. These bags are durable and lightweight.

I love the way these bags work and that they have a window so people can see what's inside. They are very strong, greaseproof on the inside and built-in tin ties keep them securely closed. I buy these bags every year to use for wrapping my Christmas treats.

I have ordered these bags three times already. The first order had rectangular windows as shown in the description, but the last two had narrow windows, 1 3/8" x 2". Good quality bags so I keep buying them but I would prefer square windows.

These are good quality bags and the flip holder works well. The cookie I made for him was perfect, but it wasn't very big. Be sure to handle bags carefully with clean hands. The first one I filled in had greasy stains from handling my not-so-greasy cookies! I've ordered these types of pouches in the past and although some were larger they fit larger cookies, are of better quality and don't tear easily when filled.

I roast my own coffee and love to gift it to friends and family. Giving people a full pound of coffee is beyond my reasonable roasting skills, but half a pound of coffee in a bag that can hold a pound or more just looks cheap, even as a surprise gift. These bags are the perfect size for giving someone a few pots of beans in a container that doesn't feel empty and makes me look like a pro.

I hate trying to understand our packaging. I purchased this item and it was great, my stamps and labels fit the material well, it was packaged well and looked fresh. On my second order I bought several of the same items. I didn't want to order big packages and risk getting another bag. Well I bought another cheaper and worse bag. I cannot pack my products in a second batch. Back to trying to find the right bag from the right supplier.

I used these for my Christmas gift baskets and they worked great! No fat escapes from butter biscuits, biscuits do not stick to the paper. I could easily fit 4-6 4" cookies and about 15-20 homemade 1.5x1.5" marshmallows in each bag. I wrote directly on each pocket and there was no smudging or see-through.
