Sparkling Addition to Arts and Crafts

This metallic thread is perfect for adding sparkle and shine to any project! The blending filament makes it easy to mix in with other thread or floss, creating unique and eye-catching designs. The 55 yard length is generous and ensures you won't run out too quickly. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to work with if you're not experienced with metallic thread, but with some practice, it's definitely worth it. Overall, a great addition to any scrapbooking or stamping project.

Pros
  • Extra shiny and sparkly for adding a special touch to sewing and embroidery projects.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to sew with and thread can break easily if not handled carefully.

Great but overpriced

I like to use this material with yarn or cotton thread in crocheting, but here at Revain it's terribly overpriced. look elsewhere

Pros
  • Thread is a flat fiber
Cons
  • Requires a rosette

New Year's tinsel is not a sewing thread

Very thin, not a thread, it's just a thread. I've already found metallic sewing thread so I know it's there, but it's not thread at all. Breaks easily like Christmas tree tinsel, not suitable for sewing. Even when mixed with regular sewing thread, the thread will snap and wear out, making your project look like junk. I regret this purchase. The price is way over the top for what it is, I wouldn't pay more than 0.99 cents, and that's only if you intend to do one-off projects with it.

Pros
  • 1-ply metal thread
Cons
  • Very expensive
