Bought this before I go to the beach. They are great for hanging our wet beachwear on the beach house railing to dry. They kept clothes like swimming trunks and fisherman shirts off the beach even in the strong wind. I liked them so much I bought a second set for next year to hang our surf shoes so we could have more.

I buy these and use them as mounting clips for my kids because they attach to pretty much anything including furniture, tables and everything. This is the second order I've placed but today I went to the dollar store and was a little upset because I saw six of them for the dollar and they were even stronger than this one. Just upside down. live and learn :(

We didn't use them as towel clips. Instead we used them as clips to cover the pool. The lid constantly deflated or submerged in the pool. These clips are large enough to bypass the metal rails and general enough not to rip the lid. They hold the lid well. We had very gusty winds over 60mph and 1 cleat didn't hold but I don't suspect much will hold. There are many clamps included in the package at a great price and they certainly do the job we wanted. The cord on the lid is useless.

I am very happy that I found these clips. We just drove to Aruba where it's REALLY windy 24/7. We spent most of our time on the beach and if I didn't have these clips we would have lost our towels. I used at least 4 clips for each city. Keep in mind that the wind was consistently around 30+ mph.
