This is a very good product. The holes are incredibly small. This has the advantage that the tea brews well, but the tea leaves do not get stuck in the holes. This makes cleaning a breeze. Just 3 seconds rinsing is enough.

I've been using this product for about four months and it works great, perfect for my small and large cups. It showed some discoloration but I think that's due to the green tea I brew in it. The bartender's friend removes it with no problem. Quality product made in Germany!

I make a gallon of iced tea almost every other day. For loose tea, it's difficult to find a large enough tea infuser with small enough holes to hold most of the fine particles. Loose tea tastes much better than regular tea bags. It is made of high quality stainless steel. I am assuming it is laser cut to size and hole pattern.

Cooler is better. I tried 3 different metal shakes, some tea balls and a silicone cooler and this one was the winner. The advantage is that it hardly displaces any water. It's good enough to brew rooibos with very little leakage, but it's easy to rinse off. It's much stronger than regular mesh (it's more like a perforation) so I don't hesitate to travel with it. I also liked that everything is metal, even the cover isn't plastic!

We drink a lot of tea and have a lot of tea strainers. We wanted to switch to stainless steel and bought several different ones. This one is just fine. The lid is practical. The construction is decent, but the lip is pretty sharp - not as sharp as a knife, but we have others that don't feel like they'll cut your fingers when you hold or wash them. The mesh is very thin, but sometimes it is difficult to clean the tea. Expensive for what it is.
