🖥️ Raspberry Touchscreen Monitor with Kuman Display 1024X600 Resolution and Built-In Speakers Review

This is a great little Raspberry Pi monitor. It can easily connect to the Pi when you're using it as a server and manually access the computer when you can't use SSH. I also occasionally use it as a secondary monitor for menu/notification screens, it reduces clutter on my main screen. I also use it as a "button" for some simulation games since this monitor has touchscreen access. I have found many uses for this handy little screen and it has proven to be very versatile for me.

I'm using this with a Raspberry Pi to control a live stream set up with a bit focus companion. Since it's a touchscreen, I can access Bit Focus directly from the web portal on this unit and use it as an effects processor/switch. The image is bright and easy to read, although I ended up removing the case to build my own rig. The touchscreen is responsive, although not very suitable for fine work. It's perfect for button presses, so perfect for my use case.

This little screen is easy to set up, all the function buttons are on the back and it comes with all the cables you need to get it up and running (power/HDMI). The screen quality is good, not great, at 1024x600 you shouldn't expect crystal clear images, but for basic operations this screen works perfectly. doesn't take up much space on your desk or shelf.

After testing this little 7 inch touchscreen monitor with several different outputs I found it to be quite decent for the price. There are different input options depending on how you use it and it works pretty well whether it's a small help screen at home or in the car. The stand is pretty solid with a variety of mounting options and screen orientations; Color and image settings allow you to adjust the image to your needs. Nice 7" IPS touchscreen from Kuman. It's perfect when I'm using my RPi4 for various projects. The touchscreen is responsive and works great, especially if you don't want to lug around a keyboard. But the Linux support is another matter, so keep that in mind. The resolution isn't outstanding but as the screen is small everything looks sharp enough to read easily and see everything I need.
