[60ml] Luminous Gold ink containing Mica particles come together to create a water-based pigment ink. Available in a 60ml bottle. [RICH GOLD INK] A true metallic paint that is highly effective on both bright and dark colored papers. Rich consistency allows for smooth, comfortable writing. You can easy decorate greeting cards or use for other writing projects. [USABILITY] It is easy to draw using a brush or dip pen. Great for brush lettering, calligraphy, cardmaking, illustration, scrapbooking, crafting, journals, and much more. You can even combine with the ZIG Silver Mica Ink to create your own original, metallic ink. PLEASE DO NOT PUT INK INSIDE FOUNTAIN PENS. My favorite golden ink

My favorite golden ink! I also have Windsor Newton Gold and Dr. Martin Gold. The Windsor Newton is champagne gold in color and the shimmer dances as you write on it, but you have to shake/stir it almost every time. Dr Martin Gold is darker than Gold and thicker. I had to clean the pen more often to keep the flow going. But dr Martin Gold was addressed as minting. Kuretake has the best bottle as it has a wide mouth that is easy to dip into. As a calligrapher with over a decade of experience, this is my favorite gold ink. I've seen other reviews stating that gold doesn't dissolve in solution and so needs to be mixed before use. Yes, gold is elemental and fairly non-reactive. So yes, any ink that uses real gold needs to be mixed. If you use it frequently, a simple shaking method will work. But really, you need a metal stick or stirrer to mix this ink. Yes, it will clog your pen just like any true gold ink. Why do I love this golden…

I bought this after reading so many good reviews. I was disappointed that these inks are difficult to work with. Every time I use it I have to spend a few minutes wiggling the disconnect. And I mean REALLY stirring. It reminds me of how starch sinks to the bottom of water, only the solids it contains don't dissolve back into the liquid as easily. Even after tossing and stirring and shaking the bottle and mixing this ink in every way imaginable (I almost feel like I'm fighting a professional…
