. This has been my favorite gold ink for over a decade

As a calligrapher with over a decade of experience, this is my favorite gold ink. I've seen other reviews stating that gold doesn't dissolve in solution and so needs to be mixed before use. Yes, gold is elemental and fairly non-reactive. So yes, any ink that uses real gold needs to be mixed. If you use it frequently, a simple shaking method will work. But really, you need a metal stick or stirrer to mix this ink. Yes, it will clog your pen just like any true gold ink. Why do I love this golden ink so much? It almost exactly matches the tip of your pen. Only a few gold colors are suitable for this. This ink flows very well with a goose quill. And the shine it leaves behind is unmistakable and shines like real gold.
