A year ago I bought another star from this company, just a little bit smaller. I wanted a big star this year. Although I was hoping for it to be bigger than it really is, it's still very nice and thin. It's well made and we love it!

It is very nice with backlight. It's smaller than I expected, but I didn't read the description as carefully as I should have. A larger version of this would be perfect for my tree, but it's still a keeper and I'll probably use it like another tree.

Disappointed with this product. I wanted a glowing star so I bought this one. I don't know if the wiring is very cheap or if there is a bad connection or something else but it stopped glowing on the second night - AFTER the tree was fully decorated so it would be very painful to try. repair of course. My advice: don't buy this.

Wooden board, looked prettier than the picture: metal and glass instead of plastic used in construction should be light. The back was completely unfinished, just plastic construction, bulbs, sockets and cords, not even a plastic lens. Instead of the expected LED lights, they used old-fashioned, 1990s-style socketed mini incandescent bulbs that burn out. There were several spare bulbs in the box.

This is a beautiful star to look at, but an electrical engineer says it poses a risk of fire and electric shock. This is a 2 wire 120VAC circuit DIRECT to all bulbs. There is no step-down transformer, so the output voltage circulates through the metal device, including each lightbulb. To save money on the transformer they eliminated one and connected 120VAC to the front for the unit and the ground wire was NOT (third pin).
