Was really disappointed in these. The purple is more hot pink/magenta, and the variety of blinking effects is very limited. Too many fast/annoying patterns! I returned them.

Out of all the modes on this light set, I couldn't find one that looked very Christmassy. The steady ones were either single colors or else a red-white-blue set that looked more like July 4th. YMMV but I think lights that have red and green on at the same time look more seasonally appropriate - maybe even blue and white or blue and green would have done it, but I didn't find anything like that in the controls.

We love these lights! We added one strand to our pre-lit Christmas tree this year to add color to the normally all white lights. These are so fun and bright! My kids love changing the pattern and speed of the lights, but our favorite is definitely the wave. The bendable wire makes it easy to tuck into your tree however you like. We’ll definitely be ordering more for next year!

Used the larger set to cover a 6 foot tree. Although after seeing how others used these types of lights, wish I doubled up. The effect looks nicer. Very happy with these, especially for the price. Remote control does need to be pointed right at the outlet, but has several effects. Or you can choose it to just be one color, which there are quite a few to choose from. The lights are awesome and bright. Several modes and colors. I purchased several boxes for indoors and outdoors. I purchased covers to keep the usb plugs dry outdoors.The description stated that they could be used that way. First rain and none worked outdoors. We have a 7 or 8ft tree, and still 200 LEDS are not enough! LOL. I have to add my 3yr old color changing lights below, that I also bought from Revain (Brand starts with O ends with y). Sadly, the brand doesn't have the same lights that I have, maybe they discontinued it. That's why I chose this brand and I was so excited with its new features that my old set of lights do not have (chasing lights, strobe, american theme, etc). These lights were bright and had the basic functions you would expect. You can cycle through 12 modes or set single colors. What you can't do is pick multiple colors to turn on at once. For example, I wanted orange and purple for Halloween. I bought these based on an answered question, and it was incorrect. There are a few presets like red, white, and blue, and red & white. You can't pick a single color and then have that twinkle or other effects. I took a pic of the instructions with the modes

Not only was this entire strand of lights completely tangled (yet neatly wrapped in it’s tangles like someone knew but didn’t care to fix it at the shop), they lasted maybe one full day. Then totally stopped working. After several hours to set up in the room. An absolute waste.Get something else. Do not waste your money or time on this cheap crap brand.

I bought three of these and I loved everything about it except the USB outlet, two pack of these LED lights outlet have bent and broken. In my opinion, it’s too long.

The variety of colors are fantastic and the different modes are fun. However, on the 2nd day of use, some lights got stuck on only one color. After turning off the string with the remote, those same lights remained on. I unplugged the lights to see if that would recalibrate all the bulbs, but upon plugging back in the string and turning the lights on, the bulbs that were stuck on one color have now turned off entirely. I loved these lights at first, but they’ve been up a couple days now and they keep shutting off (and the timer is off). I’ll put them on, and 10mn later they’re off. I also will select a color to keep them on, and they’ll just switch on their own and go through whatever colors it wants to. We were disappointed with this item, because the whole purpose for it, was to sit it on top of our tree. But the item does not sit on top, and there's nothing to help secure it to the top of the tree either. When we attempted several times to place it on top of the tree, it would topple off and not sit snug and secure properly.So, it now just sits on our Guest Bathroom counter, as a Christmas Star night light, for the holidays. Since it appears to only stand on its own, on hard flat surfaces.

Ordered to go inside my school bus but they are not long enough. Should have been if they were 33ft as stated but. May not provide the traditional and classic feel some people desire.

I didn't think these lights would be good but I love these lights I thought I needed 2 strands for my Christmas tree but one went around it perfect so I put the other in my daughter room and picked the colors she wanted and she loves then best purchase I've made

The colors are crisp and vibrant. I do love how there's a mode where it goes through all the patterns. It turns into a 5 minute loop which adds loads of variety and never gets stale. Excellent product at a great price!

Purchased this set to wind around my deck railing. Each LED has its own chip to control leds individually. Less lighting modes, but superior quality to other products that may have more modes. CAN BE HANDLED without immediately breaking. I would give 5 stars if controller was also water proof.

I do like the lights and don’t regret buying them but most of the options are a slightly different shade of blue. There is also not a good purple, there is a deep violet and a light pink ish purple but too many blues. I love the light show options but next time I’m going for something different.

The glitter comes off a lot when handling, but otherwise very happy with the purchase. The size is nice and it looks beautiful on the tree.

One of the lights is already out and one is fluorescent orange and brighter than the other lights no matter what color its on.
