🧦 Kurt Adler 20-inch Knit Reindeer Stockings - Set of 2 Assorted Designs Review

We bought these stockings when we were poor college students. They are great for what we paid for them! Inside is a mess tangled in the yard so gifts can get caught if you stuff them in a stocking. They're not the strongest, so if you make them you'll lose the shape of the stockings because of the stretching of the material. Otherwise they are cute and festive!

Lovely stockings which are very good value for money but (as other reviews have pointed out) useless as decoration on arrival as there is no lining is available. I was able to make a lining for each of the old leaves, so I'm happy with the result. However, if you are not willing to work, they will only come in handy as decorative items.

The problem with stockings is that there is a lot of yarn in them and stuffing is a real problem. I'm not sure the stocking recipient would have been impressed on Christmas morning as he struggled to pull off the goodies. Unfortunately, this could have been avoided with a lining. Outside, the stockings are cute and can be used for decoration, which I did. I had to replace them with stockings that Santa could darn as they just aren't practical for this type of use.

Wow! These stockings exceeded my expectations. They are very well made, stable and the perfect size. You couldn't get any better than these if you pay three times as much to have someone hand make them for you. As mentioned in other reviews, there are exposed threads on the inside, but that's to be expected when knitting in a stockinette pattern. I plan on using old leaves to make a liner to go inside. That way the kids won't catch it in their excitement on Christmas morning. I used plastic…
