Exactly what every cyclist could use.

Suffering from hand strain due to carpometacarpal arthritis which causes pain when pressing and twisting the throttle for a long time. This little device attaches to the edge of the throttle and leaves room on the handlebars for my entire arm when I'm not using this assist. The accessory sits on the edge of my palm, eliminating the need to grab the throttle to operate it. Easy to assemble, holds the throttle very well and finds the right position easily. It helped relieve tension and pain.

Pros
  • Lever
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

That's good. I came up with this by using a Kuryakin bolt-on and therefore a completely solid throttle body assembly. Since that wasn't an option for this bike, I went with it instead. Overall it was great and definitely helps prevent hand cramps. I can make it slip if I lean on it too hard, even with larger diameter rubber grips. But I think it's unreasonable to expect a "tense" boss to never slip up. For what it is and the price, this is a good solution.

  • Motorcycles and power sports
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Incredibly simple and very effective universal throttle.

Great product. I've bought three in the last 10 years. It fits almost every bike and reduces hand cramps on long rides. You put it in a comfortable position under the palm of your hand. I have used it on HD, Ducati, Triumph and Suzuki. Pros: Easy to remove and install. Maybe 10 seconds. Easy change of position. It fits well and doesn't look out of place. It is well made - rubber with hard plastic insert. It's safer than gas lock - you have full control and don't have to worry about gas lock…

Simple and practical!

So I doubted it would be much but figured for the price I'd give it a try. How easy and how easy. First, it's small and you can use the handle without touching it or just move your hand slightly and it works great. You can place it right at the end of your handle or anywhere you like. It's very tight and doesn't move at all. They show it in pictures upside down. Flip it over and it will have a very nice pillow resting on the edge of your palm. What I like about it is that it's small enough to…
