Absolutely terrible. These were my filters and were .

Absolutely terrible. These were my filters and they were the best when made in the USA. Now made in India I thought "hey it'll probably be good it's still the same filter" WRONG. Wash off in 20 minutes? The taste is not the same at all, and in less than a month the water had a sour taste. Boycott KX Matrikx. The seller received the package on time, which is nice.

. made in the USA actually stopped our dirty suburban well water from flowing when this filter couldn't.

The USA made ones actually stopped the flow of our dirty suburban well water when this filter couldn't filter anything else, which was about 2 months of use at most , which led me to believe it was really good at filtering out impurities. I have now found that the newer versions made in India last more than 6 months with a barely noticeable change in consumption which makes me wonder how well they filter out pollutants. Perhaps the manufacturer can comment on this.

Great water filter!

Do not accept replacements: Recently (02/24/2015) I bought a Watts 20200 water filter here at Revain and it never completely got rid of the chlorine smell. It also caused a noticeable drop in water pressure. Within 2 weeks the chlorine taste and odor returned to the same state as without the filter. This original KX Matrikx filter completely removes the smell and taste of chlorine without lowering the water pressure. It costs a bit more but I will never use anything other than a KX Matrikx on…

The USA made ones actually stopped the flow of our dirty water from a suburban well when this filter filtered nothing else which was used about 2 months max leading me to believe it actually worked well by it filtered out impurities.
