Perfect for this job

The quality of this socket was really amazing. The smooth transition between open and closed is really slow and steady. The metal material is amazing and the looks are amazing too. Overall, I really like the build quality of this outlet and it was very easy to install. I am very happy with this facility.

the locking mechanism did not work.

Not having time to return it, I took a file to the case and filed the corners so the locking tabs would snap. still patchy on both but works. It is difficult to open and closes tightly with even pressure on the corners of the lid. it's a shame, because the practical design is different, wise and beautiful. A great tool to reduce cable clutter in the home office.

As a software developer works from home, clutter is a constant problem. I have a cable management system to hide cables for a multi-monitor setup, power cords, USB ports, instrument cables, and so on.
