Pull the cable! The right size hole!

Many people say it doesn't fit. Well if you try to thread the threaded head through the hole it won't fit. First, the cable must be passed through the hole, and then tighten the top nut. Drilling it out will loosen the attachment as there will be a gap along the base plate.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Bracket is ok but supplied screws are of very poor quality

Bracket is ok but supplied mounting screws are cheap metal. Two of the three broke when tightened, and I had to re-drill the holes elsewhere because the shank of each broken screw stayed in the drilled holes. Use your own self tapping screws when purchasing these.

Pros
  • CB and radio equipment
Cons
  • Some defects

I had to adjust the hole but this is a bracket.

Simple things, convenient 90 degree bracket. The only problem I had was that for some reason my NMO mount was too big to fit through the hole!? I'm new to NMO so not sure why that could be as I thought it was a standard size but a quick change to the next size with a stepper bit and it was perfect.

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • No mold required

Works but could be stronger

Works. The hardware that came with it wasn't adequate for my application, but I've already bought some stainless parts. I would like to point out that this mount is designed to be inserted into your car from the outside of your car's roof. So you need to do the same with the mount and insert the cable first. My only real complaint is that the metal isn't as thick and stiff as I'd like.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
