I have oily eyelids and with many other primers the shadows tend to gather in the crease in a few hours. Another user's comment said it's not good for dry eyelids so that helped me. I tried this and it works great for my situation. Lasts all day, creates a beautiful neutral yet lightweight base for any shade. Love it!

I originally received this product as a gift and was delighted and amazed at how long the little tube lasted. So I didn't hesitate to buy it again when my tube finally ran out. I've noticed that the new product doesn't feel as creamy and needs a little more of my mixture in chunky chunks. It's a pity then that a new tube is empty after a short time (less than two months) and I only use cosmetics at the weekend. Would NOT buy Ain.

A friend recommended this product to me and said it works just as well as the more expensive ones. Maybe my skin is oilier than most (?), but at the end of the day my eyeshadow definitely showed signs of wrinkling. It looked messy and ugly. I usually use the Nars version and while it's twice the price, it's at least twice as effective. "As good as loved ones" definitely doesn't apply to me.

I love this elf eyeshadow primer but I don't use eyeshadow, I use it as a lip primer. WORKS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. I heard it's being discontinued. I really hope not. I used to always buy from Walmart, but last year they didn't have it. There are still Elf products, but no eyeshadow base. I love this eye primer! It's so easy to apply and covers up any discoloration (I have thin eyelids that look bluish/reddish). This primer makes a great base for any eyeshadow of your choice, but it also creates a gorgeous nude shade that I often wear alone with mascara, blush, and lipstick. As a fairly seasoned makeup enthusiast, I can say that this elf foundation is definitely underrated. Makes my shadows look very vibrant compared to no primer. However, I have found that it dries quickly and I can have the same experience with concealer applied to my eyes.
