My daughter loves the shoes and can't wait to wear them with her birthday dress, she's turning 8 but the buttons on these shoes are terrible. I don't know how to put them on and one, the shoes are dirty and won't let the dirt out. I shouldn't be returning them because the price is amazing but I need help to put them on their legs. After playing with the latch for a while I realized it's a dumb buckle, but they're very comfortable jellies and I'll be buying more of them

They are great! I'm talking about my 3.5 year old daughter, a Disney Princess, who wore shoes and could barely walk in them and didn't like them. The shoes have a strange smell very similar to marijuana and I said we won't be wearing them in public! but we put them outside and i rinsed them with water and the smell of the skunk quickly disappeared. It was easy for my little girl to close them without asking my help, so I don't agree with other reviews saying the buckles are broken.
