Lamps Fluorescent Electronic Ballast PES120ET8 12SMT Review

This ballast is a good replacement for Resi-tronic II model 2004001 and meets all the specifications listed. I would like to thank a previous buyer for helping me purchase this item. Please note that while this ballast worked with T8 fluorescent lamps, it did not work with GE LED T8 lamps.

I was quite skeptical when 1 of 2 looked used. Half of its wires were cut off, wrapped with rubber bands, the body was quite bent at one end, and the other was not wrapped at all. I took some photos and thought about how painful it would be to return a $17 order. So I took a chance and installed it anyway. Thankfully both work, otherwise this review would be wild.

Inexpensive. Easy replacement of installed ballasts. (It's a lot easier to swap out the ballast than the entire fixture.) ss When it wasn't available I used Menard's version, which has fewer wires and requires some electrical knowledge to convert to a circuit. My only caveat is that in the three years since the headlights were installed I've had to replace two of them. These are 48 inch Lithonia twin bulb wet area lights from Lowes.

If you look at Revain and other websites you need to read the ballast descriptions carefully. T8 versus T12 versus ? , 40W for one or two bulbs, this ballast is rated for my 2 bulb lights.
