If Wi-Fi or your router is down, you can't even turn on the lights! Unacceptable!

If I could give zero stars, I would. And here's why: I GENERALLY haven't had this unit for a long time and the return window is closed which is completely ridiculous because today I discovered a fatal design flaw in this product. If your WiFi is off...or not working. YOU CAN'T EVEN TURN THE LIGHT ON. I repeat. If your WiFi is disabled or your router is down, the light will not work. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I just got home from a 12 hour work day and I can't even turn on the light in my bedroom…

Trojan Horse - DO NOT BUY

Obviously this is a trojan horse that allows hackers to invade your home. I'm an IT guy and this is a malicious device. During installation, it asks for permission to scan your networks. But I've opted for the manual setting to specify the network access point coordinates since I really know what I'm doing. It stopped me from continuing. They didn't even let me use the bluetooth connection option in the app. On a whim, I tried simple and reliable apps like Safari and YouTube. They are no longer

WiFi stability issues

Updated: And they end up in the trash. Keeps losing wifi connection. Funny how long they lasted. Don't buy these pears. We currently have 8 of these in two separate rooms along with 3 plugs. In our bonus room, there are 4 lightbulbs in the same group, the plug is independent of the group, and the lightbulbs can be controlled independently in the app. In the daughter's room there are 4 lightbulbs and a socket. I have divided her into 4 different groups so she can better control her room. I…
