Works well. Was installed on several RC cars over the course of a few weeks and survived a 6 year old backyard and nearby canyon. an observation. I also bought white, blue and red LEDs from the same seller and this yellow seems to have the lowest brightness of all the other colors. Blue seems to be the brightest/most intense of the colors. Next come white and red. Yellow is the least bright.

They are amazingly strong, bright and reliable. I haven't found the melody yet. If the resistor is already soldered and protected by heat shrink tubing, then there will be a significant increase in performance, not to mention stability. I am very happy with them and plan to order more in the future. The projects I use them in usually use dimmers and the gradation of brightness is very smooth - although I'm not sure I would use them without dimmers, they are quite bright at 12V.

Pros: Light green color was stain on copper wire Cons: They have a relatively narrow radiation pattern, but that's to be expected given the design Wire gauge is SMALL, like only 4 strands of wire work, and thin filament in this.
