Good cheap laptop fan. It is slightly quieter than a laptop fan. The upside is that my laptop never gets hot or jerky as it displaces energy buildup. I wish it had a thermostat so it only turns on when it reaches a certain temperature. But the price, the style, the light and easy to use fan - all in all a great buy. With few fans but big blades, it's quieter than the ones my buddies used.

This product looks professional, no stupid lighting, seems to work to cool my laptop and helps keep my laptop in the best position on my desk. The noise level is relatively low, at full fan speed it doesn't bother me. However, there are small problems: 1. The fan turns off and on intermittently. Not sure why.2. The fan speed control changes the speed very little, there isn't much of a difference, luckily full speed isn't noisy so I just set it to full speed.

Despite a large fan, it wasn't enough to keep the Alienware 15 R4 cool! You can tell that it doesn't cool enough by the fact that the laptop fan was still running at full speed! and if you feel the sides between the laptop and the cooler, you won't feel any airflow there. Just buy a better cooling pad. Maybe with a fan speed controller (preferably automatic). This product might be good for a budget laptop, but not for gaming laptops!
