Works well - Rough plumbing

I had trouble getting the siphon perfectly lined up under the sink so it wouldn't leak. I have to regularly clean the trap of hair and dirt when it drains slowly and it always took several hours before it didn't drain. I installed this trap, tightened it and no leaks. Saved me hours of work hunched over under the sink.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Repair

Every do-it-yourselfer should know that!

I have a Depression-era house and when I installed a new sink 26 years ago, the rigid U-type siphon didn't match the drain in the wall. The clerk at Hechinger showed me this little gem. Fast forward to today and a lot of the plumbing has been replaced but not the in wall drain as it is built into a stone wall so I just bought a new one and the install is super easy!

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons

fairly slick little kitchen sink siphon

I got this for my kitchen sink and it got clogged once - just push the rubber band and you'll push the clog out - no more siphons to disassemble in the sink - that's how I love it, it was plant scraps that got into my bowl when canning because I forgot to put a colander in the sink - but still, a quick little nudge and it was gone

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Updates

Makes hard work easier!

A new sink installed during a bathtub renovation. The drain hole on the new sink was two inches closer to the wall than the old one. I've tried several combinations of rigid PVC drain pipe and "flexible" PVC pipe, but nothing worked. Several trips to Leva, HD, Asya, etc. Nothing worked out. I ordered it from Revain and received it on time. Installation took 5 minutes and works great. I will order this first for my next bathroom remodel.

The best plumbing trick ever!

Great idea. Our unsuspecting previous owner "repaired" his leaky sink with adhesive tape, which of course was already broken when we moved in. The problem was that the siphon was not the right size for the drain! Also, all the angles were weird so the stress was on everything. Not good. This little trap was perfect. It's flexible, you can attach it to the end of a pipe that might be too big for it, and the auger clamps work better than that pesky plumbing tape. Btw I took a knife to cut off…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not bad

Comes unpackaged, dirty and with 1 wrong size worm clamp

Article does not correspond 100% to the picture. It was a lighter color which is good but it was dirty and not in any packaging. It also had an improperly sized worm drive on one end. You can see in the picture that it has two of the same size, one on the P-trap part of the size. This requires two size 20's to fit 3/4" to 1 3/4" instead it only comes with a size 20 and a size 16 which doesn't fit the range I need and why bought it became. I had to buy the right size before I could use the…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Long delivery time

Lasco 25-6860 is a mediocre copy of a great Fernco product

Context: I have used two Fernco PTF-150/GIDDS-301137 in the past and ordered this one because I couldn't find a Fernco and this one Lasco was identical. It's actually very similar, but not the same. At first glance I saw that the walls were thinner than I remembered (measured later: 0.060" vs. 0.088") and gave the impression that they compared poorly to Fernco which are perfectly shaped and formed were formed. Lasco is looking good, Fernco is strong. The Lasco has a mold flaw on the bottom of…
