Lasfit 3157 3056 3156 3057 4157 LED Bulb: Bright Amber Yellow Turn Signal & Side Marker Lights (2-Pack) Review

I ordered front parking lights/turn signals for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler. They only flash when the navigation lights are off. In other words, when you drive with the headlights on, the two front fender lights come on, but when you activate the turn signals, they don't flash. They only blink when your light is off.

Actually this is my second set. I liked her so much I couldn't resist. I bought them as a backup. These lights are pretty bright. They have the ability to turn on and off instantly, which is actually more noticeable to other drivers. Unlike incandescent bulbs, when using turn signals you don't have to wait for the filaments to heat up and cool down. I should mention that you may need to install pull-up resistors to prevent Hyperblitz. However, they are fairly cheap and may require a little work

I have a 2016 Ford Explorer and I've upgraded the front turn signals to LED with JDM Astar bulbs, but I wasn't happy with the brightness "contrast" between the position light and the turn signal . . As far as I can tell, LASFIT bulbs appear to be as bright as JDM bulbs in turn signal brightness, but slightly dimmer than JDM in sidelight, making the turn signal flash more noticeable. I just received and installed them and am happy. If they don't last I'll update the review.

Very light deep amber colour. I've seen pictures of this product with a wiring harness puller, but I suspect you do, as long as you don't grab it with the hands of a cannibal and handle it carefully like you would a regular halogen bulb, you shouldn't. By default you either need to install a 150w resistor/bulb or go the easier/reversible route and get an LED compatible 'flasher relay box'. 10 resistors cost about $10 and a relay box about the same. GL and have fun. Lasfit is great!

The turn signals on the instrument cluster stay on and do not flash because the turn signals are flashing, the system thinks that the turn signals are not working and hence the problem with the turn signals. This is the only LASFIT LED that has caused a problem on a Jeep. The problem is caused by CK wiring in a 2001 Jeep lamp socket. I'll probably order a LASFIT LED that's compatible with the CK connector, maybe the new Dual Color 3157 (amber blinkers and white chase).

Purchased in Amber and Red for the 2013 Edge Sport. Nice and bright. The yellow LED looks a bit reddish in the taillight housing (maybe the color of the plastic housing is bleeding?). The red LED is present and looks much better than the OEM bulbs. Despite its unusual appearance, this lamp actually illuminates the reflector body well. I was a little skeptical when I bought these because they only seem to have LEDs on opposite sides of the bulb, but their convex shape allows them to emit light in all directions fairly evenly. 2nd EDIT 12/2020: I didn't use these bulbs every day all the time but they broke after a few years. I give them about 6 months use. They restart when the parking lights and horn are on, create false lighting, stay at a constant brightness level, and damage the car's electrical system. They were immediately removed and thrown away and I switched to Sylvania LEDs. I do not recommend LASFIT.
