Works with vacuum sealer

Works with my vacuum sealer, they don't have a very good vacuum but that's ok. I was surprised at the weight of the package when I received it. Good value, works well.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Doubtful

Received opaque bags

I have ordered these bags many times but the ones I have recently received are not of the same quality. As you can see in the picture next to it, one bag is completely transparent and the other is opaque. Very disappointed with this as it reduced the presentation of my product.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not very thick - container sets

Thought I'd try a different brand than the bags I bought last but looks like I'll end up using them order again, although I have only used very few of these bags. They are lighter than I expected and hoped for and will not let air through even when vacuum packed. I'm sure they'll do a lot of things, I just want more durable bags that keep the air out better.

Pros
  • Great overall
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Well designed for the products you want to sell

I bought these to place sublimated products in them. They are the perfect size and the fact that the front is transparent is good because you can see the product inside. The packaging is easy to open, but just as easy to close again. They're not meant for long-term storage, but they're good for short-term storage or if you want to see items inside. I would recommend them.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Transparency Film

Not suitable for long term storage of seeds or freeze dried food

Whilst I'm sure these bags would be good for storing some food they are not suitable for food that needs to be protected from oxygen. I even used oxygen scavengers but they went bad. Clear plastic makes bags less than airtight. Items that should be stored in airtight containers should be stored in mylar bags or jars with oxygen scavengers.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • there are caveats

Sporadic: some airtight, some not

I've used some of these for vacuum packing. I found that about half of them don't hold a vacuum! Some people think the problem is in the zipper, for others - in the gusset at the bottom. I get pretty predictable results ripping under the zipper and over the gusset. This greatly reduces the content. So I won't be ordering them again. For non-vacuum applications I would say they are very good.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Style 90
