Extremely disappointed with the condition of the balls of wool upon arrival. As soon as the packaging was opened, steam with a smell of urine escaped from the packaging. We aired the balls of yarn, but the smell from them remained. For this reason, it is inconvenient for us to use them with clothes etc. in the dryer.

The drying time did not decrease. In any case, thanks to permanent press fabrics, wrinkles are never a problem. Didn't noticeably soften the fabrics. Doesn't seem to reduce static electricity in flannel towels. What they were good at was clattering in the dryer and getting stuck in sheet pockets and shirt sleeves. Definitely not impressed with any aspect of this product

I saw these and really hoped they would work. But they are not as good as the 5/4 star reviews say. My first try with them, I followed the directions and used 4 balls for 3 shorts and about 8 pairs of boots. But my clothes did NOT dry faster. So on the second try I used all 6 skeins for the same amount of clothes and although they dried a bit faster I still don't think 10-15 minutes less time than usual is a huge difference.
