🌱 Lavanila Healthy Deodorant Bundle: Aluminum-Free, Vegan, Clean, and Natural Vanilla Coconut Scent - 2 Pack (2 oz Deodorants) Review

We have been looking for an aluminum-free deodorant for my daughter for a long time. Each, from cheap to expensive, caused rashes, clogged pores, and cysts. She will also smell after a very short time. With this deodorant she only has to apply cream once a day and has no pimples! AFTER ALL! For the record, she has seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, and asthma. So extremely sensitive.

I've been using natural deodorants for many years, am a big fan of vanilla and coconut flavors. When I first applied this deodorant, the smell was very strong. It didn't smell like vanilla or coconut. It reminded me of the blue chemicals used in portable pots. After wearing it for a while the smell went away and it wasn't that bad. It smelled like drugs and powder, not vanilla and coconut.

This is the best natural deodorant. It doesn't work as well as a chemical deodorant, but it's great for everyday office use. For a natural deodorant I would give it a 5 but if you add chemical deodorants it won't last long especially if you exercise. It is soft, easy to apply, does not stain the skin and smells nice. I've tried many different brands but this is the only one I use. I really like it!

I decided to try this deodorant after reacting to a brand I've been using for years. A friend recommended Lavanila so I ordered it even though it's a lot more expensive. It was delivered on a very cold day and was frozen in the mailbox. Not sure if this made a difference to the product but the deodorant stays wet and I have to let it dry for a second before getting dressed. However, apart from that, it smells nice and I don't get any rashes from it, so that's a plus!

The coconut-vanilla scent, however, smells like Pepto-Bismol (medicine) with hints of baby powder. While I'm not thrilled with it, it's not an overwhelming scent and since Lavanila deodorant works for me I'll just keep using it until I need to buy more. I will not buy coconut vanilla again. My little daughter and I tried this deodorant after using the Native brand. We switched because Native darkened our armpits. When I first opened this product, it didn't smell like vanilla at all. The smell was more like baby powder. I liked the feeling after use. It was dry and smooth, almost like a powder. Even after rubbing, no traces remained. I've been using chemical-free natural deodorants for years and stay away from commercial brand deodorants no matter how good they are. I've even tried plain Tavas powder and Tavas powder deodorants under the pits which are also an amazing product on their own to keep you dry and odor free throughout the day.
