My little daughter and I tried this deodorant after using the Native brand. We switched because Native darkened our armpits. When I first opened this product, it didn't smell like vanilla at all. The smell was more like baby powder. I liked the feeling after use. It was dry and smooth, almost like a powder. Even after rubbing, no traces remained. However, by the end of the day, my armpits stank terribly, like I hadn't used any deodorant at all. I've never sniffed Native. I will try other natural deodorants because with such good reviews I am sure this product will keep me fresh all day long. This product has worked for my daughter so far but she is quite young and doesn't sweat as much as I do. make.
