Firstly I believe the negative reviews are coming from people using this capsule to brew 6 to 8 oz of coffee. This is an espresso rated for 4 ounces or less of coffee. I use a Keurig coffee maker that can make cappuccinos and lattes as well as the perfect cup of espresso.

I was very impressed with this wonderful coffee selection; however, at least every other capsule bubbled up and sent coffee grounds into my cup and left coffee grounds all over the face of my Keurig Hot. It became very annoying to have coffee grounds in my coffee. I would probably think this is a big issue with the poor quality of the pods as the coffee was good.

I was expecting strong coffee based on some reviews but was disappointed. I ordered a Variety Pack to try different Lavazzas. All of them are fresh and trouble-free.
