functional - shoe organizer

I bought this because it was cheap and fit the width of the bottom of my closet. Assembly was difficult as the holes were not pre-drilled so the shelves are likely not perfectly level. Four posts stick out at the top, which isn't ideal. The wood is cheap so I heard some cracking when assembling it but I think it will work. I sprayed it to add some protection.

Pros
  • great price
Cons
  • cumbersome

Great little rack, I bought 2!

Great multipurpose stand! I used this for a plant stand in front of a low window. It's a nice minimalist thing. It's easy to assemble and although it comes with 3 posts, you only have the option of using 2 posts, giving you more space between them. I bought two shelves and I really like them! I only split one section a little but it's still holding tight, I think I turned the screw in too fast.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Weak set

Weak, already crisp, overpriced

DO NOT BUY! IT'S BUMMY! I wasn't expecting much based on the price, $32 when I bought it, but oh my god it shouldn't have cost more than $10. The wood was full of knots, which caused two pieces of wood to break during assembly. The spacing wasn't right so I had to sand everything down to put it together. There is currently duct tape holding the two shelves together. I'll be surprised if it lasts a month.

Pros
  • Annual trial period
Cons
  • not reliable

Poor quality - clothes and closet storage

Likes: Super light, nice wood colour, minimalistic look Dislikes: Cheaply made, cracked wood, not even usable as a Montessori shelf. After assembling the first one, I realized that I couldn't use it as a shelf because it's too weak and not strong at all. I was too lazy to take it apart and realized I really needed a shelf for shoes so I left it to myself. (I ordered 2 and sent 1 back)

Does the job of storage and organization

Bought this at the bottom of an outerwear closet to hold shoes while they hold up very well. It is very light and fairly easy to assemble (my 10 year old did most of the work). However, I wouldn't call it strong; I think if I left it outside the kids would sit on it or even step on it without hesitation and it wouldn't last long which is a shame because it's cute. All this to say that this is perfect for the price and I can finally close my closet door cleanly without holding back an avalanche…

Poor workmanship, had to be strengthened when assembling

The first thing we noticed was the very poor quality of the wood. Like a cork oak. The screws were large and long but we found that the wood they were screwed into had cracks and the screws would split the wood if used as given. Luckily we have a DIY garage so we were able to use a stapler, nail gun and glue to build it without the included screws. In the end everything worked out and got stronger. At least for the price we got all the parts, but unless you're tool savvy I'd advise spending…

Is he wearing shoes now? Yes. Would I buy it again? #

It arrived and my husband and I burst out laughing! While we weren't expecting much at this price point (the dimensions fit our odd closet perfectly), this was a really odd product. I support this joke. BAD: - The holes are not pre-drilled. Comes with screws to mount the four posts that hold the racks. The holes were drilled in the posts themselves, but not in the posts. We had to get our drill and do it ourselves. The holes are drilled unevenly. We had to look at him closely to make him stand…

Pros
  • Storage and Organization
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Easy assembly if you have a good Phillips head screwdriver. However, only one side is pre-drilled and the connection side is NOT marked. So you have to make an educated guess as to where to position the wood, and 2 out of 4 of mine didn't appear to be dead (because there were no marks and you can't see) so the wood spits. It's very ugly and if you buy it for aesthetic reasons forget about it. We bought it to use as a magnetic device stand, so it doesn't really matter to us other than it's a…
