🍷 Le Creuset Black G Food Service Equipment & Supplies Opener Review

I've been using this corkscrew for ten years when I saw a vintner opening bottles for us. I have small hands and am not very strong. I find this cork remover the easiest to use. It doesn't need to be dragged and folds neatly for storage. It will last a few years but being mostly plastic it will break. The exchange is easy.

I bought one of these on a trip to New Zealand over 20 years ago. It eventually broke after literally thousands of wine bottles were opened. It's very easy to use and I find it much easier and better than the other options. Many times I have successfully used it to open a bottle with a dry cork. As always, the service and aftercare from Revain has been excellent. I'm so glad I used my Le Creuset wine opener again. Thank you!

What's not to like about this opener?! It is portable, very easy to use and removes the cork very quickly. A disadvantage; this is the third one we have bought. It has a stress point right where the worm attaches to the nut so over time it will break due to all the force from twisting. What you might think isn't a big deal since you can buy replacement augers, but they cost more than replacing the entire unit.
