LeapFrog Blues Clues Discovery Board: Interactive Learning Toy for Kids Review

I bought this as a gift for my grand niece who is 2 1/2 years old. She loves to play with him, but she's away. This little leapfrog is portable as it is.

We love Blue's Clues and this was the perfect toy for our preschooler! She can learn phonetics and words while playing, which is the best learning method for some kids. He captured their attention with songs and new words for over 30 minutes. It expands vocabulary and adds to what's being learned in the classroom, so that's a definite plus. It is definitely worth a gift as it comes in special packaging. Everyone can see and hear the value of it and for the price it counts!

This LeapFrog Discovery Board is made of plastic with a plastic touch panel on top. In the upper right corner is a large blue plastic dog. The board teaches the sounds the letters make, challenges them to choose the next letter in order, and offers other games to learn letters and sounds. My 3.5 year old son enjoys playing with this toy and the top handle makes it easy for him to carry it around. He took his abuse well. In general. great toy.

I definitely like the top handle. It's easy for my kid to wear. I know this speaks for more than 2 years but my child loves to push buttons and what better way to learn their alphabet at an early age? The color is so bright that it attracts the child's attention. The songs make you rock and dance. Leap Frog products are so strong and durable that they can withstand constant bumps or even falls out of the cradle if baby bumps into them.
