Good idea with missed opportunities

The idea of this toy is great but the animals chosen for some of the letters were very poorly designed. Q for the queen bee, why not quail? Now my kid will think the bee starts with Q. X-ray fish for X, now they associate X with fish. I got this toy to introduce my daughter to animals and their sounds and eventually to learn the letters and I am disappointed in some choices. C stands for a caterpillar that squeaks, why not just make a cow out of it? So many missed learning opportunities.

Pros
  • Learn Learn with every spin of the wheel
Cons
  • Little things

Need the best animals and the best animal sounds.

Everything is fine. The songs are annoying. There is no way not to listen to them. Therefore, you should hear a song on every spin in every setting. You can't just turn around and hear PP for a pig. First the song, then the pedagogical part. The animals they chose for some of the letters are terrifying. C like caterpillar? J for Medusa? They used 4 different bird species for different letters. Some of the sounds the animals make are good normal sounds that I teach her like a frog making a rib…

Pros
  • Three game modes: learning letters, animals and music
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great toy with unexpected benefits

My son was referred for physical therapy at 9 months because he couldn't crawl and only walked on all fours for a few minutes. The therapist had this toy in his practice - it encourages children to get on all fours and strengthens the muscles of the upper back. I bought it for my son, he liked it and in a week he started crawling. Now, of course, I can't give the toy credit for helping my son learn to crawl, but I think it definitely did. If you're unsure about choosing this product, know that…

Pros
  • Introduces letters A to Z, animal names and sounds
Cons
  • Some bugs
