It also has an extra loop that is not attached to the belt but is needed to keep the end of the belt on the belt, especially if there is an excess when using a larger size. I usually take a size 38, but a size 32-38 can be too small, so I chose the larger size 38-43. I have a 35" waist and a 32-35" size hardly works. I ended up ordering a second 36-40 inch strap so I could have one for "public outings". Otherwise it is very well made and I am very happy with it.

I was surprised by the quality of this belt. It looks like real leather and has held up well so far. It also applied to the size.

The strap was great until the single screw holding everything together fell out, now it's unusable. My last belt lasted 2 months.
