👔 Refined Leather Cowhide Belt Blank Strap: A Classy Addition to Men's Accessories Review

The belt has a smooth polished surface on the outside and a semi-smooth polished surface on the inside. This is the best belt I've ever bought online. Other straps I buy have had a rough, unpolished interior that made them difficult to put on. This belt is better than that one. It was a little longer than I expected based on the size chart, but still fits. I'm going to buy another one, one size smaller than the current one, and keep what I have. Otherwise the belt is of good quality.

The strap is what I had hoped for except the buckle buttons are too close together. This makes it for the two closest buttons difficult to hook into the buckle. On most belt buckles, the buckle pin wraps around the shank, creating a bulge in the wrap area. My suggestion for belt manufacturers is to add an extra 1/4" clearance between the two internal latches. This extra clearance gives an extra 1/8 inch of room to close the buckle closures. The quality is good but there are problems: I ordered two belts, black and brown. Came in a plastic bag in the mail. One of them was worn like it had been dragged across the sidewalk. The mailer was not frayed so the belt was frayed before shipping. Luckily I have leather paint so I touched it up and the scratch marks will fade over time. UPDATE: The next day we put it in a vise and fastened the strap clasps over the buckle. ORIGINAL: The skin is very beautiful. I really wanted to like this purchase. Needs replacing approx. A 10 year old (maybe 20?) leather belt that I wear almost every day, since I first bought it. I believe the old belt was Levi's, Docker's, or one of those brands. This new belt came exactly as expected, 1-1/4" wide, with retainer, and I was able to transfer the center bar buckle from the old belt to the new belt.
