This is by no means a bad belt. The color is light brown and the actual construction is beautiful. It's not about the size. I usually buy medium sized straps because I have to fully tighten the large strap for it to fit. Medium straps have always been perfect. I can barely put this belt on in the loosest position, so there's definitely something wrong with the sizing.

This is my second of these belts and I think I just need a little feathering to get a decent one. There's a pretty big gap in size so I'm either not fitting or the size I have has to shrink to the last hole. It's okay, but the skin isn't very durable. After about a week or two of use, the holes started falling apart. Had the same problem with the first one but managed to last almost a year. I'm not so lucky here. Compared to the similar belt (10+ years old) it replaces this one is fully functional and does the job. It's sewn neatly and the buttons seem to hold up better than the old model (which had me putting a short screw post on because the buttons kept coming loose). If you're looking for a good belt to wear all the time, this isn't it. It appeared to be well made, but I suspect the cheap faux leather and lining will start to peel off fairly quickly after a bit of wear. I bought this for a Halloween costume that fits but I'm returning it because we bought the 36" for my husband and it doesn't fit me. And I have size 4 27" jeans.

I was worried by all the bad reviews. The belt is great. Looks good for a $13 belt. I'm using the sash for our company's western party. Impossible to find a genuine leather belt for $13. This belt smelled like leather and looked western. I never expected a $13 belt to be used on a daily basis. If you are looking for a belt that is suitable for everyday use, then go for it. If you want a durable leather belt, spend your money on one.

I like the length of this belt so it's versatile. The print is subtle and doesn't distract from my buckle. BUT, durability cannot be. I have leather straps and this one looks like an imitation. A heat-pressed print appears pixelated, as if a design was quickly printed onto it. The pages feel like thin black glue. I doubt it will last long and after a few wears it will fall apart quickly.

That's a big lie. These are recycled materials: rubber and plastic then covered in vinyl, and a back made of faux leather-coated material that's chemically treated to smell like real leather.
