Looks good, works well, fits well but definitely not "real leather" unless you believe the misconception that PU "leather" is "real". " is. I doubt this belt will look good in a year. I hate anyone who now calls plastic leather, and this is no exception - foam and plastic leathers with "grainy skin". I was annoyed at first that 1 piece didn't arrive. As I understand it, you can cut it at the point where the belt connects to the buckle if needed. I wear the belt everyday and love that I can easily adjust to bloated and non bloated days and it doesn't hurt when I wear it! I wish it was a little thinner in width, it doesn't leave much room in my belt loops to secure carabiner keys, but I don't think this belt will tear and wear out like traditional "hole" belts! I have bought a belt with the same ratchet before and I liked it. When I saw the belt and buckle I knew I wanted it. It's nice to be able to cut off the strap to get the perfect size. The buckle is heavy so be aware of that. However, it is a very beautiful design. I actually bought two of these belts, black and brown. Based on my experience so far, I give it 5 stars for durability. If this one doesn't deserve a rating, I'll come back and edit the post.

An excellent quality belt at this price. I'm a huge guy so I bought a really big one. I find that belts for tall boys can vary greatly in size. So I bought a very large belt. It's easy to cut from the side where the buckle attaches, so my advice is to make sure you're big enough if you're not sure. It's better to have too much because it's easy to trim. The buckle is very tight and I had no problems with it slipping. I will say I have not worn the belt with jeans or any other fabric but it fits

This is the best strap I have ever had. The ratchet is easy to use and set up. I have a body where my waist and hips are about the same. This belt is exactly what I was looking for. I now wear military style magnetic belts for everyday use but cannot wear them to work due to the formal dress code. I bought this belt as a cross between a perforated belt and a bohemian belt.
