I was VERY impressed with the quality of this belt! It's very thick (in a good way since it's not thin). The clasp is strong too! It even came in a box with a mini screwdriver and leather tool for cutting lengths or making new holes. My ONLY complaint is that the two loops on the side of the buckle are attached with a very thin piece of metal butt rather than sewn together. I don't expect them to last long.

Appears to be of good quality. It may not be enough, but I gained some weight in the midsection, but instead of shedding it back, I'm going to start doing squats and try to get back in shape. According to one review, it's not real leather, it's pressed leather. Hm? I guess I don't know the difference but I love the belt and I think it was money well spent. I think it had tools to make new holes, although I don't think I need to use them. Good closure.

After wearing this belt for three days, my husband noticed that the material it was made of was starting to sag. It's really obvious when you take it off to change pants. Maybe it's the material or it's too thin. Seems good enough to last a while. The belt and gift box are very beautiful and attractive. They also kindly provided instructions and the necessary tools in case the strap length needs to be adjusted. All in all, definitely worth the extremely low price.

Hello -- 3 stars first because I haven't owned it for a long time -- just got it. I paid $11.50 on the best day. FYI: I'm a 6ft 2in, 285lb tall guy in a Santa or Fat Gandalf uniform. With a tape measure I measure 50 inches but I have a 511 on a 44 or 46 waist that will fit. (pretty sure they fit 44 inches exactly) I also have a pair of 54 x 34 dungarees that are loose but comfortable. I usually live by the sweat of my brow, being disabled and housebound. In general I like the belt. It is very durable. It was too long and I tried to cut it with regular scissors but couldn't. Before I could try the wire cutters, I added a few items to the belt that didn't need to be trimmed (purse and phone holders and a key clip). The plastic buckle can make noise when putting on and taking off the belt. It can also be finicky and difficult to untie and pull the belt through. If the latch/buckle holds, this belt should last forever.
