This belt was exactly what I was looking for - good workmanship and optics at a reasonable price to match my new universal kilt. I have a few others Tried brands but ended up returning due to poor printing on the samples.This one looked perfect straight out of the box and matched the Distel belt buckle perfectly.The width of the strap was perfect and had no problem getting through loops.The part where the strap folded over (with velcro closure) protrudes a little at first but that goes away…

Adhesive tape is thin and not of very good quality. It will work but I don't know how long it will last and I will eventually replace it with something better.

Don't waste your money. Despite what other reviews claim, there is nothing redeeming about this belt. It's made out of incredibly cheap material, absolutely inflexible. The material is incredibly strong, stiff and will never fit comfortably against the body. The belt is triple folded and the crappy material keeps it in that shape no matter what. The loop at the end of the belt that you thread into the buckle is so thick that you will never flatten it enough to look attractive.

Very durable thistle and celt patterned kilt belt. Slip on a thistle pattern belt buckle and nobody will mistake you for an Irishman. Goes well with my Pride of Scotland Kilt.
