First of all, the belt looks great and fits great. I believe you can even adjust the length slightly if it's too long! It's a softer leather which means it will stretch and possibly tear at some point. It is comfortable. It holds your pants. It's a good price and I think it's a good belt. I prefer stiffer straps, that's all. Again, it's not a bad belt, just not the right one for me. I kept my belt for emergencies.

I bought this belt over a year ago as I lost some weight and was unsure of my size. It was perfect at first, but over the next 2 years I slowly lost 40 pounds. I have scaled down several times to fit me. The process is easy! You simply unscrew the buckle, cut a few inches of material at that end (not where the belt holes are) and use the included leather punch and household mallet to drill a new screw hole. The belt is well-made and durable. I wear jeans with a 48 inch waist so I bought a size that I thought was a 47-51. Unfortunately I'm already using the last notch on the belt so I'm wondering if the next smaller size would be better when the max length was 47. . It comes with a hole punch for extra cuts and detailed instructions on how to trim the strap for later reference.
