This worked very well in our aquarium. The place where we keep the bowl doesn't have much light and this was the perfect solution. The description says it's best to use with a round bowl. It flexes though, so if you have an unusually sized small aquarium I think it will work. It doesn't have an on/off switch, so you can rest assured that wherever you attach it, you'll have easy access to the plug. Overall a great purchase and solution for odd shaped aquariums.

Wow! What a world. This little light is amazing. I use it on a 3 gallon betta cube and it looks amazing. I have a java fern and an anubias nana and I think this lamp is perfect for them. A bit pricey for a lamp of this size but the quality is excellent. It only uses 5 Osram LEDs but puts out a lot of light.
