Bought for my aquarium, worked great at first, but shortly after the return period had expired the cable failed and is now constantly disconnecting.

Bought this light for a zebra finch cage. They got happier. I happened to have a 12V AC/DC converter, and it works great. Excellent purchase. I'm glad I did.

When I first bought and installed this product I found it amazing, very easy to install and very bright. But only after 4 months it is already very dark and doesn't work in some places. It's also worth noting that mine was placed above the aquarium, not in it.

Product works great and is very bright it is good value for money. The only complaint is that they can only attach metal screws to the lid, which will work with many types of lids. Adhesive mount would be much better as I've seen on similar models.

Installed 2 cool whites and 1 blue for my Biocube 14 yesterday. Too early to speak of its durability but so far so good. I removed the old fluorescent system and a fan. Use the original 12V power supply to power the LEDs. The mounting clips that come with the led panel have no screws, the panel is not very bright, I have to turn on all 3 panels to get the result. We want them to last for many years.

These Kick Butt LEDs I just brought 2 strips, one white and the other very bright and I have a well known German brand for $400 and the Germans buy these sets for $50 % .I am willing to buy about 20 sets for a larger plant system. I bored them at 40 gallons. Planted and plants are rocking on plain old gravel soil, not much under layers of soil or super layers, just 1.5 inches of natural gravel and my plants are growing like weeds. Not as bright as it looks, enough power to break through the water for coral to grow. Easily retrofittable. They have only been in my tank for 2 weeks. Let's see how waterproof they are, but for now they're holding up well. It's white, it's just for us to look inside the tank. Blue and full spectrum are good for coral, mine seems to be thriving and reaching for the light. I have 3 of these, this one is white. Full Spectrum and Blue, they are all connected and perfectly match the Ledenet dimmer.

I've been looking everywhere for a light to add to my 6 gallon tank to help plant growth. Since my tank had a solid black cap, I couldn't find any that sat over the cap because they wouldn't show through. I finally came across this light and ordered it and it worked great. I have it under the lid but over the aquarium frame, very comfortable and has been waterproof so far.
