I used them to light up a pantry. I installed them right in the door frame, one at the height of each shelf. Brings real light into the pantry. Since it uses a low voltage transformer I was able to connect 12 DC through the switch on the door so it turns on when the door is opened.

Definitely cheaper scrap. I tried 3 of these cheap lightbulbs and each of them stopped working within a few days of purchase. They recently changed the design - the old model was good, but the new one went straight off the assembly line to the trash.

The body is beautiful, but the wiring is terrible. Each device comes with its own driver, which would be nice, but there's only about 3 inches of cable between them unless you want to expose a very cheap plastic driver to a display next to a light source (or put it in your cabinets). where it is on paths of your dishes etc) you will need to cut the wires and solder your own extension. We took a risk that paid off. These LEDs under the cabinet look great. We recently remodeled our kitchen and were discussing installing under cabinet lighting.
